The astrology birth chart, or horoscope, are based on astrological signs, planets and other factors that represent forces which may or may not affect the life of an individual. Birth charts usually need a time of birth, date of birth, and year of birth.

The usual horoscope that we can read from newspapers or online horoscopes are general predictions of what forces can affect lives. There are more information placed in them, like what numbers have certain effects on decision making, some have colors and attires that can affect life.

A corresponding animal sign or astrological sign makes up a birth chart. For example, if you were born on July 31, 1966, then you would be a LEO, with a fire element and a fixed modality. The Leo loves, has a regal personality, is self-oriented, proud, expressive, dramatic, generous, benevolent and exhibits warmth and affection.

According to readings, different signs have different personalities. Like a Leo would find it very hard to have a relationship with a Taurus as these are two very strong personalities that can start off amiable and friendly and end up a clash of wills.

The Gemini is the Twin. This sign is feared by some because the personality of a Gemini is two faced; they can pretend to be one or the other.

There are twelve astrological signs all in all, not necessarily according to months as the dates can overlap one another. But a general view of a sun sign can be influenced by the alignment of planets at the time of birth and it can disrupt certain aspects of the personalities.

A lot of people look to the daily horoscope as a daily guide of things to come. The batting average of these readings is doubtful, but there are really some instances wherein it is like the reading just hit the nail right on its head.
